Purple Cranium

Dumping ground for offroad Trailblazer or Envoy general discussion.

Does anyone know if Purple Cranium is still in business?

I ordered a guard from them 2 weeks ago and have not received any confirmation or anything but my money has been taken from my account. I have tried emailing them multiple times with no answer as well.

Any help or info would be great.

Thanks all

I haven't heard anyone say they are out of business. That may be the case, or they are just a small business taking forever to get back to you.

Hopefully I get a response soon. Would love to have one on my TB.

I think I'll wait till the end off next week and if I don't hear anything I'll file a claim through the bank.

Have you tried calling them? I can find two sets of numbers for them: (313) 581-0032 and (517) 545-0032

Well good news. I received my Purple Cranium guard in the mail today. Looks and feels great but just wished their customer support was a little better.

Good to hear! Glad it worked out. They make a good product. Just cut off the spider's head.

I got an adjustable panhard. Do I need the drop bracket? And do I still need to cut the head off if I don't need/use a drop bracket?

Thanks

Either way I think you'll need to remove the head or bend it over. The drop bracket will make the panhard more likely to hit. I don't have a drop bracket, and mine hit when going over a bump.

With an adjustable panhard I do not believe you need the drop bracket.

I had a similar experience with 999offroad.com when ordering my cover for my SS rear. I would have just liked a tracking number email. I was in no hurry but still.

SS cover

8.6' I believe you can use this also on the 8.0" as the covers are the stock covers are the same as the PC.

These are beefy covers, Made from 1/4″ steel with 3/8″ steel mounting flanges.
Due to the cover depth I have to move out the driver side panhard bracket axle mount so the bar doesn't hit when cycling.
