running out of excuses as to why my car keeps coming home muddy (friends dirt driveway was wet, road work) my dad definitely knows I've been off roading but my mom hasn't caught on yet. what are yalls favorite excuses?

This, and why would need an excuse? Not like you did anything wrong, and coming up with new excuses makes it obvious that you are lying, did they pave your friends driveway? If not that one should be your catch all, or tell the truth, crazy right?

Uh, if it's your truck than who cares. If not, I would suggest you be honest with your parents and stop screwing around in their truck.
