Nice! That's a little more than what I'm looking for though. I do dig the skids that mount with the stock bumper cover though.

I would actually like to run this with out the headlight guards. I know TrailX did for a while before going with the MDB? One... I like the look and it allows me to add forward lights and I can keep my stock bumper cover intact.

TrailX does not sport a MDB front end. Westin quit making the grill guard a while ago.

Oh, it kinda looks like one of the MDB front ends.

Looks like I'm making my own eventually.

I didn't have a Westin, it was a WAAG. The WAAG was the best we had at the time. But that was back in the stone age, before anyone had full steel bumpers. My front bumper was done before MDB started selling his bumpers, otherwise I probably would have gotten one of his. Custom building takes a LOT of time.

Don't waste your money on a grill guard unless you never see yourself getting a steel bumper. Though for a 2WD, that might make sense... A full steel bumper on a 2WD is kinda false advertising.

Exactly why I am not going that route. Honestly I just want to add some forward lights and not cut up my bumper. I've contemplated removing the cover but imho they look ugly as all get out without the cover...unless you slap a full steel on there. I could possibly make a tube bumper work later down the line...but as for now I'm mothballing this idea, gonna look into different/simpler means to adding forward lighting and I'll probably get some skids and call it a day. I still have a lift and maintenance to take care of (breaks, end links, swaybar bushings...)
