Sway Bar Questions

Dumping ground for offroad Trailblazer or Envoy general discussion.

I've got two questions... :drive:

1. I'm running completely stock right now, with stock size tires and rims. I'm about to install markmc's 3in leveling kit and his 1.5in wheel spacers. I've almost flipped a couple times on the trails I usually climb on, and I'm thinking about disconnecting. Am I good to disconnect my sway bar on rough trails, or am I going to end up with a wheel busting into inside my fender?

2. If I'm okay to disconnect, is there anywhere to get quick disconnect links? I looked around the MDB forums but they seemed to stop at a dead end.

Ditch the rear completely, and most of us disconnect the fronts while wheeling. Definitely want to reconnect front while going back on pavement. You can make your own end links or JKS 3100 fits our trucks

While disconnected, is there a way/need to stow those disconnected pieces anywhere to keep them from roaming freely?

Does jks really fit? That's a jeep disco ain't it? Anyone currently running them that you know of? I'm interested in their opinions.

well, tested it out when I got home today. I gotta say, it looks mean already and I don't even have my lift/spacers yet!
