I'm kind of curious how it'd look mounted at the front of the hood now. I might go sit mine out there to see.

Granted, this is technically not on the hood, but you get the idea.

on the front should be easier for us short guys to get on and off but then you have to either remove it to raise the hood or lift the extra weight.

Then you short guys can work on your over head press and scott press. Daul use right there. :lol:

I keep mine in my thule ski carrier, ski's are only 1/2" thick & this is wedged in tight

its the 60" version so it has some weight to it

for an added measure I have a simple cable gun lock on it as well, (left side top) I gave it the brake slam test at 50mph & it doesnt budge
