I wonder if I sold my front 4.10 R&P already...

I'll have a look today.

Take the diff out in 3 pieces like Jon A did next time.

Well he couldn't find any in his system, so apparently it's up to me to find a replacement and he'll give a full refund whenever I swap the 3.73 back out.

I'm not having trouble finding any on Car-part.com

recieved this e-mail today. Is "carrier" just an all inclusive term that salvage yards use for the whole assy? I wouldnt imagine that they open up the diffs and part out every little peice.

jonbo, my friend, if you could run that vin and verify for me, that'd be great!

Morning,

I would do $300 shipped to you on that carrier. This is the front carrier. 1GNDT13S452348219 is the vin

Let me know what you want to do.

Thanks,

Will they send you a pic of what they are sending, just to be certain?

I just replied asking that. We might have a confusion of nomenclature.

Well shit head had a whole week to reply with anything... anything at all... not even a courtesy e-mail. So... Ebay has found me a replacement. Priced a bit more, but I get a certain piece of mind from this seller. Not only does he have pics of the item, but theres like 7 studio style glamor shots of it! Yet to get a vin, but might just be a risk worth taking, considering they're attention to detail in their labeling of other parts. The 99.6% positive feedback helps, too.

I looked at that Ebay ad. It caught my attention that they didn't mention Trailblazer SS in the fitment guide. Aren't they interchangeable?

It lists TBSS. IDK what you were looking at.

Well, a WAY too long time later... I've finally got a new front diff on order (verified the VIN). and the LKQ guys are not helping in anyway... not willing to give me anything back for the wrong diff they sent me. So I'm out the cost of 2 diffs.
If anyone wants a 3.73 front diff for cheap, I'll have one to sell in a few weeks!!

I ordered a rear axle from those LKQ clowns, they shipped me the wrong one and I couldn't get it resolved, I'll never buy another item from them again.
Fortunately in my case I made it work, but I was more than a little irritated.
