Dumping ground for offroad Trailblazer or Envoy general discussion.

I'm looking for recommendations for mufflers. Straight pipe is too loud.

Loved my Hooker Aero chamber. 4 years it has founded awesome but a weld broke inside. Got a Magnaflow to try now. Just debating single or dual exit.

I have a Gibson cat-back on mine, 4.2. It was a little loud until break-in, now I would buy another.

Well. I took the straight pipe off. My little brother has a pre runner ranger and he cut the muffler off. So I put that on. It actually sounds half decent. Minust the broken heat shield smokeing cuz it rests on it. And don't judge! Um a hill billy. My buddy calls it "wheelin in luxury" haaa

smoke = fire (eventually)

I'm pretty sure the 02-09 models of trailblazers werent designed to engulf in flames (fire bad). you'd have to ask car&driver magazine about the 2013 Trailblazer, as it's not available in US...
