Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Why I offroad - a slideshow for inspiration

Dumping ground for offroad Trailblazer or Envoy general discussion.

Not sure I ever posted this here. Moving content from Trailvoy.

Note that it's not all off pavement. No rock crawling. No extreme mud pits. No turbos. No custom cams. No chrome. It's for the grand adventure of it all.

This is the sort of expedition I aspire to. Makes a person seem small by comparison.

Amazing! I loved the car with the RTT. If the landrover can do it a TB definitely can!
Though they did cheat, they didn't haul their own boat down. :poke:
The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

Nice compilation. Although, I think there might have been a couple turbos in those pictures... :)

Does the site require flash player? I don't see anything when I get there, and iPads don't allow flash.

They don't allow flash? Maybe you should return it for a refund.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that slideshow was flash. Isn't almost all online video flash?

A large portion of online video is flash, it's starting to sway to html5 but it'll take time. There have recently been tools developed to make html5 as easy to use as flash so I suspect it'll transition more rapidly in the coming years. Even android has stopped officially using flash in the new OS and adobe has confirmed that they won't develop for it for android.
With that said I'm still using flash on my Xoom with the newest OS and it works. But it's unknown for how long.

Enough with the hijack...

There's some beautiful scenery in the slideshow. Looks like one hell of a trip. Thanks for sharing Bill. I spent some considerable time in Colorado and North/South Dakota and while there is some amazing scenery out there I never ran across anything like what's in the slideshow.
