Badland 12,000lb winch

Dumping ground for offroad Trailblazer or Envoy general discussion.

Harbor Freight is running their sidewalk sale this weekend and among the great deals they have offered is this winch. I am wishing I had the $300 laying around to pick one up myself.

I have the 9000lb one on my Yota. It's a solid unit. I like it better than the old style HF winch on my TB.

20% off coupons will work on sale items too...

That makes it $240.

If you look at the monthly specials section, the 12000 lb is on there at $299, and right next to it is the 9000 lb winch for sale at $369...

Hell, for $240, tempting to pick up and just leave on the truck, and not switch the XRC back and forth between it and the TB... But I just picked up a $2500 welder, so I think I'll hang back for now...

Thanks for the heads up!

I'm in a similar boat. I'd love to go grab one but I just picked up a free Warn 8274 that's sitting on my garage floor waiting for a home.

Fishsticks, do you know where a 20% coupon is? I have a recent flyer but it doesn't have a coupon in it.

I think there was one in the latest issue of Motor Trend or Car and Driver.

ok, I might have to pick up one. $5 for a magazine to save $60 for a winch sounds like a good trade!

The little junk mailers that show up in our mailbox always have them. I have a STACK of those coupons.

I'd mail em out if people needed em. Don't think they'd make it in time though.

I checked my May and June issue with no 20% coupon code.
Fish, can you PM me a coupon code? I think I can use it online.
Shipping is only $6.99 on it :-)

I am curious, did the website allow you to use the coupon over the sale price?

I was not able to use the coupon.
The error was that the coupon was invalid.
Unsure if it would allow it for another non-sale item or not.

I found another coupon online and I had the same error.

I picked up a floor jack and stands that were part of the same sale and the cashier would not allow me to use the coupon. I was just wanting to make sure that it wasn't just my store. The coupon does say that it can not be used on sale items or any other discounts.

When i asked they said the 20% coupon was not good on sale items
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

Just picked one up today, $320 with the 20% coupon. $80 more gave a free replacement, no questions asked warranty for 2 yrs. If it survives 2 NY winters it'll be money well spent.
Not quite as good as the tent sale, but nothing to complain about.
