Looks like fun! The deal with the winching, were you just not trying to slide down a steep hill on the outside of the corner?

Yes you'r right. On the pictures it's not really scary but it was very close and I felt a bit nervous. My young baby boy was with me. So I did it safely.

It looks a little wet and slick on that trail, Marc. Here in BC, we're in the middle of a record breaking long hot spell, with forest fires raging all over the Province. There are 177 fires active right now, and the whole SW corner of the Province is under a thick pall of smoke this evening, so thick that I can smell the woodsmoke in my building!
