Howdy guys! I just got back from a last minuet 3.5-4 hour trip to waters MI. Close to Caleb actually but he refused to come visit! Lol! I thought to myself as we headed up there how different the terrain was and it was all sand, always heard to air down but don't quiet have a portable compressor yet so needless to say I didn't air down, and in turn I suffered! Did get a chance to winch off a down tree and use my home made sand ladders

The no-door look is quite intersting. I don't know if I could do it, but more power to ya.
As for airing down, yeah, that's a super necessity in sand. A portable compressor is a requirement whenever you're in sand.

I'm with James. I have too much shit in my rig to go doorless. Wouldn't be very Tread Lightly to leave a tool box at one spot, a bag of ratchet straps at the next, a cooler filled with bacon, etc

Looks like a fun trip. I've found even airing down to 25lbs helps at the beach and I'm not too worried to drive the 30 miles or so home if I have to. Fortunately there are air stations near the beach we can air up at.

Shouldn't that stuff be tied down anyway do avoid tragic consequences if you get too steep or rollover? Unrestrained stuff can be awful deadly. 
Had a big stainless coffee mug exit the rear of my truck to slap the dashboard on a downhill...scared the shit out of me. 
they've always worked for me.

my big shit aint tied down, just latched closed (mostly referring to the footlockers) Smaller stuff is strapped down though.
In the past though, I have had cargo from the back pay me a visit up front. Awful nice of those items to visit me in a time of stress. I appreciated their surprise arrival.
