Went out and messed around a little in my wheeling/hunting grounds to see how MarkMC's lift helped out with clearances today.
This 1/2 million acres (almost half is closed to public use) has roads/tracks ranging from paved to most of what's in a 2.5 rating
Most water crossings are sand bottom so they are usually packed fairly hard except for some of the swifter moving ones where if ya don't get on across it'll wash out around your wheels quickly.
(Yea i know, pretty tame for 4-wheeling but it is what it is down here on the Redneck Riviera LOL)
Pretty various conditions depending on weather. A lot of tracks you can go across a soft deep sandy ridge and have a mudhole just around the corner and down the hill depending...Ya got the smart asses in the bigger rigs that will stop in these small dirt/mud depressions and wallow them out (that's how i sunk the front end and snatched the front bumper off my first ride out (stock)
THIS is my main concern where I wheel, deep sand and the center hump....
